You know, I made a promise to myself a while back—everyone deserves a handbag that’s not just pretty but also practical, something that lasts a lifetime in both quality and style. Do you know how many times we've heard, "I wish I hadn't invested in all those low-quality bags that fall apart after a year or two, when I could have invested in one of your beautiful leather bags"?

Especially once I hit 40, I realized the value of beautiful, functional pieces that I'll cherish for years to come. Sure, I could have taken the shortcut—cut corners, mass-produced overseas, and ignored sustainability to bring costs down, like others do. But, honestly? That’s just not my style.

I've never been one to chase flashy, overpriced "high fashion" brands or logos. Over a decade ago, I stopped shopping at department stores altogether. Quality over quantity became my mantra after my first pair of expensive jeans. Remember when you could snag Levi's for $10 at a thrift store? Those days might be gone, but for me, nothing beats a pair of denim that's both flattering and super comfortable, even if it costs a bit more. They're my day-to-day go-to, much like my leather goods...

Some of my designs, like Jenne (shown above), started as an oversized wristlet/clutch aimed at offering a more affordable option, but evolved based on customer feedback—she grew into a versatile crossbody/clutch with the addition of an external zipper pocket. Each enhancement not only extended production time but also raised raw material costs, but sacrificing quality was never an option. Jenne's transformation reflects our dedication to crafting pieces that adapt to our customers' needs and withstand the test of time.

The same philosophy applies to our Edie Tote — why settle for a good tote when you can invest in the perfect one that meets all your needs and desires, now and for many years to come? From its spacious design to its durable materials, every detail of the Edie Tote is crafted with your everyday convenience and long-term satisfaction in mind?

At the end of the day, it's about investing in the perfect piece—because sometimes less truly can be more.

Every piece we create is meticulously cut to minimize leather waste, crafted in small batches to avoid overstock, and made right here to support our local economy—not overseas. And when you reach out to us, you're talking directly to our team, not some distant call center. These are principles I won't compromise on, even as we grow. In the future, I hope you can visit our local facility and see your leather goods being made, if that's your thing.

Our prices, our quality, our choices—they might not suit everyone. But if you appreciate what we stand for, thank you for being a part of our journey. If you're all about chasing the lowest price, well, maybe we're not the right fit. And that's okay too.
