Every Brynn Capella leather good is locally handcrafted in small batches at a production studio on the south side of Chicago. We proudly prioritize ethical practices, fair wages and hands-on craftsmanship over mass-production. Our design studio and office is nestled in Logan Square - a tree-lined, creative neighborhood on the city’s northwest side - where every detail is designed with purpose and versatility.
We use full-grain cowhide - the highest quality leather out there. It’s soft, durable, and designed to age beautifully. We’re proud to minimize waste too, turning leftover pieces into small goods that complement our collection, from leather bracelets to key fobs and more. ps: you’ll spot a few printed suede or cowhide leathers for something a little unexpected too.
We don’t do logos, fast fashion, or influencer hype. Our goods are made for women who want something truly special - distinctive design details like contrast stitching and zippers, functional silhouettes and unique leathers that feel even better in person. You won’t find us in department stores, because these aren’t just handbags. They’re Brynn Capella Leather Goods - a lifestyle, not a label.
After nearly a decade in high-end boutiques, we made the choice to go direct - so we could connect more personally with the women who wear our bags. While we don’t have a traditional storefront, we welcome private appointments at our Chicago studio. It’s a space where you can take your time, feel the leather, and find the piece that truly fits your life. We also offer curbside pickup and pop up at the Holiday Chicago One of a Kind Show every December.
